Arjun Bewakoof Cast: Rajesh Tailang Joins Sanjay Mishra In Dark Comedy Film, Reunites With Smita Singh & Anand

Acclaimed actor Rajesh Tailang known for his work in Delhi Crime, Mirzapur and Pagglait is all set to feature in the upcoming neo-noir dark comedy Arjun Bewakoof, starring alongside Sanjay Mishra and Dolly Singh. The film marks Tailang's reunion with director Smita Singh and writer Anand Raaj after their previous collaboration on Andaman.

While the actor shares a close personal bond with the filmmaker duo, Tailang reveals, "Smita and Anand are like family to me, but that wasn't the reason I chose to do this film. The story is so beautiful, and I have immense faith in their talent. The passion with which they are making this film made me feel it was necessary to be a part of it, in any capacity," he shared.

Speaking about the film's intriguing title and theme, "Arjun Bewakoof is such a beautiful title. We all do foolish things in life, we fall in love with our own foolishness, and we learn from it. This film touches upon something very similar," he said.

In a surprising departure from traditional character portrayals, Tailang said, "I am not playing a character in this film. I am Rajesh Tailang - with an aspect of poetry. It comes at a very beautiful turn in the story and fulfils an important narrative need," he revealed, adding that the experience was both challenging and creatively fulfilling.

Produced by 8th Pillar Motion Pictures, Arjun Bewakoof also features Malvi Malhotra, Jigisha Joshi, Shikhar Mishra and Satendra Yadav.
