Earlier, Asha Bhosle's son Anand Bhosle told reporters that visitors could come between 10:30 am and 2 pm to bid farewell at the Lower Parel residence. The singer's last rites will then be held at Shivaji Park at 4 pm on Monday, with the family stressing that the crematorium should not become overcrowded.
Sharing the plan, Anand Bhosle, accompanied by politician Ashish Shelar, said, "Tomorrow, from 10:30 am to 2 pm, people can come and take the last darshan of my mother at the Casa Grande building. At 4 pm, her last rites will be performed at the crematorium. I request people not to gather there, as there are chances of overcrowding."
Asha Bhosle had been in fragile health for several months. On Saturday, the singer was admitted to the ICU of Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai with cardiac and respiratory issues. On Sunday morning, Anand Bhosle confirmed that Asha Bhosle had died after battling these complications, bringing an end to a career that lasted more than eight decades.
