Asha Bhosle Wrapped In Tricolour

Asha Bhosle died on 12 April at the age of 92 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Doctors had admitted Asha Bhosle on Saturday with a chest infection and exhaustion. The news spread quickly, bringing many admirers and colleagues to mourn.

On Monday, several celebrities including Riteish Deshmukh, Sachin Tendulkar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vivek Oberoi reached Casa Grande in Lower Parel, where Asha Bhosle lived. They gathered quietly to offer final respects. The building entrance stayed busy as cars arrived, and security guided visitors towards the singer's residence.

At the Lower Parel residence, Asha Bhosle’s body was wrapped in the Indian tricolour. The gesture signalled deep respect for Asha Bhosle’s contribution to Indian music. Visitors, including industry figures and close friends, saw the flag-draped bier before offering prayers.
