Asha Bhosle Health Update: In a major turn of events, legendary veteran singer Asha Bhosle was rushed to the hospital lately. The 92 year old singer was reportedly admitted to ICU in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on April 12 (Saturday). While there have been reports about Asha Bhosle not keeping well since last few months, she was reportedly rushed to the hospital owing to cardiac and respiratory issues. While the news spread like wildfire, it was reported that the veteran singer was critical.

Zanai Bhosle Reveals Real Reason For Asha Bhosle's Hospitalisation

As fans have been praying for Asha Bhosle's speedy recovery, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle shared a pic with the legendary singer and revealed the real reason behind her hospitalisation. She wrote, "My grandmother, Asha Bhosle due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy".

Furthermore, Zanai emphasised, "Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively". On the other hand, as per a report in Mid-day, doctors from the Breach Candy Hospital confirmed that Asha Bhosle has been hospitalised. He stated, "I can only confirm that she is admitted. I can't give any other health update".

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concerns about Asha Bhosle's health and tweeted, "Deeply concerned to hear that Asha Bhosle Ji has been admitted to hospital. Praying for her good health and a speedy recovery". On the other hand, Marathi artist Abhijeet Kelkar expressed concern over the singer's health and prayed for her recovery. He wrote in Marathi, which translates to, "Ashatai, may you receive some years of my life... Amen. Get well soon. May we have the privilege of seeing and listening to you sing in a program with the same enthusiasm."
