Bhooth Bangla Overseas Review: Fans of Akshay Kumar are set for a fresh big-screen outing as Bhooth Bangla prepares to arrive as the actor's first release of the year. The film blends horror with comedy, is directed by Priyadarshan, and brings a large ensemble together. According to a tweet going viral on the micro-blogging site Twitter from a user based in Pakistan and UAE, Bhooth Bangla is an outdated comedy. He gave the movie a rating of 1.5 stars and tweeted, "A old product in new packet! totally outdated comedy-drama movie without any funny & laughable moment".

On the other hand, as per a tweet shared by Umair Sandhu, a self proclaimed film critic in London, Bhooth Bangla is a disappointing watch. He stated, "This movie is a major letdown from the accomplished director. It's not a full-blown comedy. It's not a full-scale satire either. Hugely disappointing!". He gave the movie a rating of 2 stars.
