Actor Bobby Deol has rejected online claims of a clash with Alia Bhatt on the sets of the spy thriller 'Alpha’. Bobby Deol said the reports of an argument surprised Bobby Deol, and described Alia Bhatt as sincere and focused. Social media posts had suggested tensions during filming of the YRF Spy Universe project, but Bobby Deol has now called those rumours false.

Bobby Deol said the first mention of the alleged disagreement reached Bobby Deol through a friend. Speaking to India TV, Bobby Deol stressed that there had been no on-set fight and highlighted Alia Bhatt’s discipline during demanding action work. Bobby Deol also spoke about how unverified posts on Instagram often turn into full stories without proof.

Describing the moment Bobby Deol saw the gossip, Bobby Deol said, “A friend also sent me a snapshot of that rumour. I was shocked as well. People are so idle that they write anything and create stories.” Bobby Deol added that there was no question of a dispute and that online narratives did not match what happened on set.

Sharing more about working with Alia Bhatt on 'Alpha’, Bobby Deol said, “Alia is a very good actress and she is very professional. She works very hard. Alia was also prepared for all the fight sequences that she had to do. So I did not understand what anyone was thinking when writing all these rumours. I can't go around proving the point to anybody. So it is not true. People remain influenced by Instagram but 90 per cent of the stories on it are not true.”

The film’s release plan has changed several times. 'Alpha’ was first expected to release last year, before being shifted to April 2026. Later, the date was moved again to 10 July 2026. A recent report by Bollywood Hungama now suggests it might arrive one week earlier, though the makers have not confirmed this shift.

According to the report, 'Alpha’ could now hit cinemas on 3 July 2026. The claimed adjustment followed the change in schedule for 'Dhamaal 4’, which moved from that date to 17 July. Until an official announcement from Yash Raj Films, the industry continues to treat 10 July 2026 as the locked date.

Beyond the core cast, 'Alpha’ has drawn attention for possible special appearances. Industry reports suggest Hrithik Roshan may feature briefly in the film. There is also talk that Shah Rukh Khan could return as Pathaan in a cameo. Neither Hrithik Roshan’s appearance nor Shah Rukh Khan’s role has been confirmed by the producers so far, but both possibilities remain part of the current buzz around the film.
