CJP Protest Katrina Kaif Trolled: The youth's fight against the NEET paper leak, led by the sensational Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), has taken the country by storm. While several have come forward voicing their support for Sonam Wangchuk and the students, netizens have been expressing serious disappointment over some celebs' silence over the ongoing situation.

Amid the ongoing situation, actress Katrina Kaif has come under the radar for her silence regarding the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar.

Cockroach Janta Party's ongoing fight has sparked nationwide attention. From veterans like Shabana Azmi and Prakash Raj, who personally visited the protesting students to express their support, to actors such as Rajkummar Rao, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Karan Kundrra, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh, Diljit Dosanjh, and Genelia D'Souza, who backed the movement on social media, several members of the film industry have spoken out in support of the students. Many also condemned the brutal lathi charge on the protesters and urged the government to initiate a dialogue to address their concerns.

Meanwhile, several big names from the Bollywood film industry who are yet to break their silence on the ongoing movement have come under fire from Indians. Among them, new-mom Katrina Kaif is now facing strong criticism from her own fans over her silence on the CJP protest. One of her fanpages, named 'katholic_fans', has shut down their profile as they don't want to support someone who does not "have a spine to speak for Indians".

Sharing a statement on Instagram, the fan page wrote, "I have been your fan since childhood, but you can't say a word for us Indians and students who love you from the bottom of our hearts. You don't have the spine to speak against the government. You betrayed us when we supported you at your lowest. I am unfollowing you and closing this fan page. You don't deserve it."

Katrina Kaif Loses Followers Amid Her Silence On CJP Protest

Amid the backlash, Katrina Kaif has seen a noticeable drop in her followers on Instagram. She lost a lot of followers after the user shut down the fan page on Instagram over her lack of statement on the current scenario. Reportedly, the said fan page had over 70k followers.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif currently seems to be on a maternity break after welcoming her first child, son VIhaan, with husband Vicky Kaushal. She is yet to sign any new project.
