The film's approved runtime is said to be 150 minutes, translating to a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The certification also marks a notable career milestone for its lead stars. For Kriti Sanon, it is reportedly the first adult-rated film of her Bollywood career spanning over a decade. Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, adds another A-certified Hindi film to her filmography after Animal (2023).

Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, is no stranger to adult-rated projects. Cocktail 2 joins a list of his previous A-certified films, including Kaminey, Udta Punjab, Kabir Singh and O'Romeo.
