Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha: Adivi Sesh Calls Mrunal Thakur ‘Down To Earth’, Reveals What Makes Their Chemistry Work

Mrunal Thakur and Adivi Sesh's Dacoit is gearing up for an intense big-screen release. While audiences eagerly await the film's trailer, the duo's chemistry has struck a chord with fans. From their romantic track, Rubaroo to their fun, candid moments during promotions, audiences can't seem to get enough of this fresh on-screen pairing.

Speaking about how they built this natural chemistry, Adivi Sesh shared, "I think it was a beautiful surprise to have somebody so down to earth, literally sometimes because we had so many conversations with the both of us sitting on the ground. She looked out for me, she looked out for my performance, I looked out for. She looked out for me in Hindi, I looked out for her in Telugu."

He further added, "There was a beautiful understanding of what these characters were, simply because we din approach them with egos, both of us came to sets early to kind of understand and discuss the role, so in that sense we became characters we love and by extension it became two actors who love each other on-screen and the chemistry flowing beautifully because we were so in love with our own respective characters."

Marking Shaneil Deo's directorial debut, this ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film's story and screenplay have been jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. Dacoit is gearing up for a grand pan-India theatrical release for 10th of April 2026.
