Today's (April 19) morning started with a huge surprise for fans as Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced that they are set to embrace parenthood for the second time. Taking to Instagram, Deepika posted a picture of daughter Dua hold a pregnancy test kit in her hands showing a positive result.

For those unaware, Ranveer and Deepika fell in love with each other during the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. The much-in-love couple quietly dating each other for a few years and got married on November 14-15, 2018, at Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, Italy. The wedding featured two ceremonies honouring their traditions-Konkani and Sindhi-followed by multiple lavish receptions across India.

Six years after getting hitched, the couple finally welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, 2024, in Mumbai. Last year, on the special occasion of Diwali, the couple unveiled the face of Dua. And now, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya today, they've announced the second pregnancy.
