Deepika Padukone has pulled out of a planned Paris appearance for Louis Vuitton after her flight was cancelled amid travel disruption linked to the ongoing US and Israel war on Iran, with the decision affecting one of the brand’s key events in the French capital. The Bollywood actor, who became Louis Vuitton’s Indian ambassador in 2022 and is also among the label’s global faces, had been scheduled to attend the Paris engagement this week, but plans were dropped when flight operations on the route were hit by the geopolitical tensions.

According to Mid-Day, Deepika Padukone had already finalised looks for the trip and begun fittings for the event before the disruption. The publication reported that the cancellation of multiple flights in recent days, including Deepika Padukone’s, forced a rethink over whether international travel was sensible at this stage.

"Deepika was initially confirmed to attend. She had zeroed in on her outfits and begun fittings for the appearance. But her flight was among the many that were cancelled in the last few days. Also, given that the war has been escalating and affecting several countries across West Asia, she reconsidered whether it was the right time to be travelling," a source close to the actress told Mid-Day.

Deepika Padukone’s team has not released any formal comment yet on the cancelled Paris event for Louis Vuitton or the altered travel plans, and there has been no clarification on whether the appearance may be rescheduled once flight operations and regional security conditions improve.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is preparing to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in King, which is slated for a theatrical release on 24th December 2026, with Suhana Khan also playing a lead role in the film alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

Reports stated that Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan recently filmed a major King sequence in Mumbai set around Vijayadashami celebrations, where producers built an extensive set to mimic the scale, sound and visual energy of a festive procession, with the schedule reportedly stretching across eight consecutive nights of shooting.

During this elaborate King sequence, Suhana Khan is said to have performed several action stunts, suggesting an action-focused part in the project with Deepika Padukone, while a separate big-budget venture, Atlee’s AA22XA6 with Allu Arjun, also remains in Deepika Padukone’s line-up, with Variety India reporting that the official title may be revealed on Allu Arjun’s birthday, 8th April 2026, though there is still no official confirmation.
