Dhurandhar 2 Celeb Review: Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, is reaching cinemas on 18 March 2026 with special premieres and a wider release on 19 March 2026. The sequel follows Dhurandhar, which drew a strong response in December last year and became a major box office talking point. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 features Ranveer Singh, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun. Amid this, Ram Gopal Varma has issued a bold prediction for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, praising the film on X and forecasting huge success. Varma described the Aditya Dhar film as the "birth of a new cinematic order" and urged Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan to watch the first day, first show. The 63-year-old filmmaker said he watched Dhurandhar: The Revenge on the night of 17 March 2026 and praised its cinematic grammar. Varma, who has been praising Dhurandhar for months, claimed the Ranveer Singh film will make Hindi classics like "Sholay and Mughal-e-Azam look like TV series."

"After last nights watch of #Dhurandhar2 in terms of it's sheer cumulative impact in every which way, whether on it's expected collections, audience euphoria, social influences, cinematic grammar breaking, and above all the psychological audio visual impact, it will be a SHOLAY x 100 level magnificence and is bound to make all the greatest films made so far starting from MUGHAL E AZAM. onwards look like TV SERIALS (sic)," he wrote in the post.

Continuing the praise for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Ram Gopal Varma added another emphatic line about the film's impact. RGV wrote, "This is the BIRTH of a NEW CINEMATIC ORDER and the ruthless extinction of everything that that ever existed before in the previous WORLD of CINEMA (sic)." Varma suggested earlier cinema would appear outdated beside it.

The Rangeela and Satya director also claimed that Dhurandhar: The Revenge is reshaping Aditya Dhar's career. According to Varma, "The very spelling of the word DIRECTOR will start from @adityadharfilms name, and it will be prudent and wise for even STEVEN SPIELBERG and CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to drop everything they are doing, and catch #Dhurandhar2 FIRST DAY FiRST SHOW (sic)," he concluded.
