Dhurandhar 2 Paid Previews Cancelled In India & Abroad? Here's What We Know
Dhurandhar 2 Paid Previews Cancelled: Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2 aka Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Given the iconic success of Dhurandhar, this new Aditya Dhar directorial has been creating waves ever since it was announced. After all, the movie brings back Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in the lead. As Dhurandhar 2 has been scheduled to release on March 19, it is expected to carry forward the story of Hamza aka Jaskirat Singh Rangi (played by Ranveer Singh).

Interestingly, given the phenomenal buzz around Dhurandhar 2, the makers had organised paid previews for the movie across the world and they have been scheduled for March 18. However, much to everyone's shock, the paid previews of Dhurandhar: The Revenge have been getting cancelled around the world at the last minute. Yes! You read it right. Some of the prepaid shows in India's Telangana and Tamil Nadu along with several places across the world had to be called off just a few hours ahead of the paid previews.
Dhurandhar 2 Paid Previews Cancelled Reason
In South India, the problems have been sharpest in Telangana and Tamil Nadu, where numerous paid previews for Dhurandhar: The Revenge were cancelled. Exhibitors there cited non-availability of language prints, especially dubbed versions, and similar issues have surfaced at select international locations depending on regional content deliveries.
A major multiplex chain from Tamil Nadu confirmed the setback through a post on X. The message read: "We regret to inform that the Tamil paid previews of Dhurandhar: The Revenge scheduled for today have been cancelled. Refunds will be initiated shortly. Thank you for your patience.. (sic)". Film critic Kamaal R Khan added on social media, "Film #Dhurandhar2 content has not been downloaded till now. Therefore, exhibitors may need to cancel 05:00 pm show today."
Viewers in Maharashtra also faced disruptions, with reports of multiple cinemas scrapping their 05:00 pm Dhurandhar 2 shows. While the Hindi version is largely on schedule, regional language screenings have suffered, creating confusion for audiences who had booked early for the spy-action film's opening previews. The same content delivery problems have turned the 18 March paid previews into a severe logistical challenge for theatre operators in the South and abroad. With crucial regional language files missing, cinemas have been forced to issue refunds and reschedule, leaving a sizeable segment of Dhurandhar 2 followers dissatisfied and unsure about replacement shows.
Meanwhile, it is reported that a majority of Hindi prepaid shows for Dhurandhar 2 are expected to run as planned.
