Dhurandhar The Revenge and Ari Ari song legacy
The song “Ari Ari” first gained popularity through Danish-Indian duo Bombay Rockers, around 2007. It appeared on their debut album “Introducing” and mixed Punjabi folk influences with western production. The tune drew inspiration from the traditional folk piece “Baari Barsi”, but used hip-hop drum patterns. This blend helped the track stand apart during the early-2000s Punjabi-pop phase.
Nearly twenty years later, the Dhurandhar The Revenge trailer revives “Ari Ari” with updated sound design and rap layers. The new cut keeps the energy of the earlier hit while adding current production textures, which align with the film’s intense action stretches. The makers describe Dhurandhar The Revenge as the story of unknown men, unfolding on 19 March 2026 in cinemas worldwide.
