Diljit Dosanjh responds to a pro-Khalistan flag incident at the Aura 2026 Canada concert, emphasising fan safety, directing security to handle disturbances, and urging calm while highlighting his upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga.

Diljit Dosanjh has responded to the pro-Khalistan flags row linked to the Aura 2026 Canada concert, saying he would not allow anyone to insult supporters inside or outside the venue. The Punjabi actor-singer said those disturbing the show were asked to leave, and urged people to stop sharing misleading claims.

In an Instagram story written in Punjabi, later translated online, Diljit explained how he views banners and flags at live shows. According to the post, Diljit sees them as a sign that listeners have travelled from different places and want to express support. The message also set clear limits on behaviour inside and outside venues.

Sharing his version of events, Diljit wrote, "If someone brings a banner or flag, it usually means they want to show they've come from a certain place and support us. But if you're standing outside with the same banner abusing my fans, and then trying to do the same thing inside the venue too, I'm not going to tolerate this." Diljit stressed that his concern was the safety and comfort of fans.

The Instagram note continued with Diljit countering claims that he had objected to specific flags. Diljit said, "I didn't say anything to any banner, don't spread fake narratives," making it clear that the venue security team was directed only to deal with individuals causing a disturbance. Diljit mentioned that the subject had been bothering Diljit since the previous year but felt silence was no longer workable, ending the message with "Love & Peace."
