Gandhari: Will Taapsee Pannu Perform Blindfolded Action Sequences In New Film? What We Know
Taapsee Pannu has firmly carved her niche as a powerhouse in female-led cinema, owning the protagonist space with roles that blend grit, grace, and unapologetic strength. From the Pink, Tappad, Naam Shabana to Haseen Dillruba, Assi she consistently aces narratives where women drive the story, shattering stereotypes and captivating audiences. Now, according to reports, her most daring leap yet in the upcoming thriller Gandhari, performing intense action sequences while blindfolded.

"Taapsee Pannu is set to push boundaries like never before, performing intense action sequences while blindfolded, adding a whole new layer of challenge to her character," reveals source. This isn't just stunt work, rather it's a new way of thinking about action heroes. In the blindfolded fight scenes, she cannot use her sight and must depend on instinct, muscle memory, and inner strength, turning her vulnerability into power.
Even simple actions look powerful because the character stays in control despite the chaos. If this is true, Gandhari could show a new side of Taapsee's action skills, focusing not just on physical strength but also on emotional and mental intensity and the film could become one of Taapsee's most memorable performances. Written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by Devashish Makhija, the film is set to release this year which follows the story of a mother who never gives up as she searches for and tries to save her kidnapped child.
