Refusing to sing, Kher used the moment to school the host. Drawing comparisons with other professions, he questioned why singers are expected to perform instantly on demand, likening it to asking a cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar to hit a six or a soldier to fire a shot without context.

A video of the incident has since gone viral, showing Kher addressing the request directly. He said, "Yahi main badalna chahta hoon, yahi mere mann main lalak lagi hui, yahi badalna hai.
