Karan Johar has shared a detailed reaction to Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2, praising both the film’s scale and Ranveer Singh’s performance. Johar said the drama reaches far beyond patriotic themes, while the film continues a strong run at the box office in India and overseas.

Reflecting on debates around the film, Karan wrote, "The discussions on Testosterone, hyper alpha energy and deep rooted patriotism will continue as it must… BUT #DHURANDHAR2 is so much more than that." Karan focused on how the story and emotions linked to Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat, connect deeply with viewers.

While the praise continues, Dhurandhar 2 is also earning strong numbers. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs. 715.72 crore in nine days in India. On Day 9 alone, early trends suggest earnings of Rs. 41.55 crore, taking the total net collection to Rs. 854.99 crore.

Worldwide business has been robust as well, with Dhurandhar 2 reaching Rs. 1079.32 crore at the global box office.
