Kshitij Tarey Reveals Why 'Ab Hoga Hisaab' Reflects His Life Today | Exclusive
When asked which song from his own discography best represents him at this stage of life, Kshitij quoted renowned poet Nida Fazli. He explained how artists evolve through different phases.
He admitted that while every song reflects a different chapter of his journey, Ab Hoga Hisaab resonates the most with his current state of mind.

Kshitij Tarey Says 'The Soul Of Music Hasn't Changed, Only The Way People Consume It Has'
No doubt streaming platforms have drastically changed viewing habits; even Kshitij echoes the same thought. He believes composers have had to rethink how they approach storytelling.
The singer mentioned that audiences often watch content on their phones or tablets while travelling or multitasking, unlike the immersive theatrical experience of the past.
"Earlier, people would sit in theatres for two or three hours with complete focus on the film. Today, content is consumed on the go, so the way music is designed has naturally changed. Every episode needs its own high point to keep viewers invested," he explained.
Despite the shift, Kshitij feels the essence of music remains untouched.
"What has not changed is the soul of music and storytelling. The way people consume content may have evolved, but as long as that soul remains intact, music will continue to connect with audiences," he concluded.
