Main Actor Nahin Hoon: Nawazuddin Siddiqui Opens Up His Approach, Says "My Acting Process For...."

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, one of the most versatile actors in our industry who has delivered many remarkable performances, is set to impress audiences with yet another impressive role. The National Award-winning actor will be next seen in Main Actor Nahin Hoon, directed by Aditya Kripalani.

The trailer has already been released, which has been received well by the audience. Ahead of the release, Nawazuddin was recently seen sharing insights about the core theme of the film.

"Our film breaks barriers between people and asks all to embrace the 'other,' no matter what we believe. In this case, it is a banker and an artist. The film explores a belief that labels divide us and humanity unities us. That's the core of this film," said the actor.

Further speaking about his acting process, he said, "My acting process for a particular project is shaped by a directors' need. I trust them completely. I always try and follow the directors to say where I place myself in a believable premise to connect internally with the situation. Sometimes, the character demands to be spontaneous where you can improvise in certain situations and sometimes you just need to follow the instructions of the directors. It's all about delivering a superlative performance that will be enjoyed by everyone."

Directed by Aditya Kriplani, Main Actor Nahin Hoon is now set for release in India on May 8, 2026, after receiving acclaim at the Cinequest Film Festival 2024 and the 25th New York Indian Film Festival.
