Main Vaapas Aaunga Trailer Launch: Vedang Raina Reacts On Being the Youngest Actor In Imtiaz Ali’s World
Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga is easily one of the most anticipated romantic films of recent times. Interestingly, it also makes Vedang Raina the youngest of the stars to be a part of the versatile filmmaker's unforgettable romantic world. During the recently held trailer launch event, Vedang Raina reacted to being called the youngest hero in Imtiaz Ali's world and described it as the "most amazing thing" to happen to him.

"It makes me feel young and also very, very honoured. I mean, to be part of an Imtiaz Ali film, even at the age of whatever, would have been a privilege. This is a really interesting title, to be the youngest. But, you know, I keep saying it. It's the most amazing thing that could have happened to me, especially this early in my career. And I'd just like to thank you again," he says.
For the unknown, Vedang Raina plays the younger version of Naseeruddin Shah's character in Main Vaapas Aaunga. During the trailer launch, the actor admitted feeling the pressure of playing the younger version of a legendary star. "I did feel the pressure when I was cast. I did feel the pressure when I heard I'm playing the younger version of Naseer sir to be a part of a film in which such esteemed actors, veterans are there, Diljit Paji. Definitely I took that pressure as a responsibility, and I hope people are happy," he shared.
Billed as a charming story of love and longing, Main Vaapas Aaunga also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari and Naseeruddin Shah. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12.
