They further requested fans to pray for her soul, and added, "We request you to please pray for the departed soul. May she rest in eternal peace."

Maniesh shared a close bond with his mother and often spoke fondly of her on social media. While the exact cause of her death has not been disclosed, a TV9 report states that she had been battling a prolonged illness before passing away today (Wednesday, July 8). Urmil Paul is survived by her husband Jagmohal Paul and their 3 children - Maniesh Paul, Jyoti Paul Mohan and Vivek Paul, along with daughters-in-law, son-in-law and grandkids.
