Namastey London Completes 19 Years: Celebrating A Love Story That Bridged Cultures & Hearts

Vipul Amrutlal Shah has indeed delivered many superhits, and Namastey London is one such gem that speaks volumes about his brilliance as a filmmaker. As both the director and producer of the film, he brought a full-blown romantic comedy that ruled hearts with its beautiful love story while reflecting Indian culture and values on the big screen.

Today, Namastey London has completed 19 years, and the makers celebrated the occasion with a beautiful video.

Taking to social media, the makers of Namastey London shared a video compiling some beautiful glimpses from the film, which serves as a nostalgic treat on its 19th anniversary. They further wrote:

Released in 2007, Namastey London starred Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nina Wadia, Javed Sheikh, and Upen Patel. With such an amazing cast, the film presented a one-of-a-kind love story that still holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. The film was co-produced by Aashin A Shah.

Apart from its beautiful story, the film also featured a blockbuster music album, consisting of amazing songs like Chakna Chakna, Viraaniya, Main Jahaan Rahoon, Yahi Hota Pyaar, and Rafta Rafta. The film further showcased the incredible on-screen chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
