Palash Muchhal Reacts To Allegations Of Being Caught Red Handed & Fraud: They Will Not Go Unchallenged’
Palash Muchhal Wedding Row: Musician Palash Muchhal has rejected cheating and fraud accusations linked to the cancelled wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana, calling the claims false and harmful. Muchhal has said on Instagram that the allegations are "baseless" and has confirmed plans for legal action.

The controversy follows the couple's decision in early December 2025 to call off their wedding. Soon after, Sangli-based Vidnyan Mane, who has said that childhood ties exist with Smriti Mandhana, publicly levelled serious cheating and financial accusations against Palash, triggering a social media debate.
Palash Muchhal Reacts To Cheating Allegations
On 23 January 2026, Palash posted an official note through Instagram Stories addressing Mane's statements. "In light of the allegations made by Sangli-based Vidnyan Mane on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are entirely baseless and factually incorrect," Palash wrote, directly rejecting each accusation.
Palash further stated that the accusations are aimed at damaging personal and professional standing. "They have been made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation, and they will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels," he added.
Vidnyan Mane Makes Shocking Revelation About Palash Mane
Mane has claimed that the alleged cheating incident happened during the wedding festivities. "I was at the wedding celebrations (November, 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed with another woman in bed. Bhayanak scene tha, he was beaten up by the Indian female cricketers. The entire family is chindi chor. I thought he'd get married and settle in Sangli, but it has completely backfired on me," Mane said, as quoted by Hindustan Times.
According to Mane, attendance at the November 2025 celebrations gave direct knowledge of the events. Mane has said that Indian women cricketers present at the venue confronted Palash. These claims have not yet been independently verified by authorities or by any official statement from the Mandhana family.
Palash Muchhal Accused Of Financial Fraud
Beyond personal conduct claims, Mane has also alleged financial cheating. Mane has accused Palash of defrauding more than Rs 40 lakh and has lodged a complaint in Sangli. Mane has said that the introduction to Palash came through the Mandhana family, based on long-standing trust.
Mane has maintained that documentary material exists to support these allegations. "I have saved all proofs including my chats and phone conversations that I'm willing to share with the police and the media," he added. Police in Sangli are expected to examine any evidence submitted through the formal complaint process.
The dispute has moved from private arrangements to a legal and public fight, with both sides holding firm. Palash has insisted the allegations are false and driven by malice, while Mane has said that evidence exists and has pursued a formal police complaint in Sangli.
