Pati Patni Aur Woh Do X Review: Is Ayushmann's Film Paisa Vasool? Netizens Reveal What's Good & What's Bad
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do X Review: Ayushmann Khurrana is back on the big screen with a new romantic comedy, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which is already among the year's most discussed Hindi releases. The film arrives after Ayushmann Khurrana's horror comedy Thamma and aims to build on the strong audience recall. Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz and continues the world of the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh as a spiritual sequel. Pati Patni Aur Woh Do places Ayushmann Khurrana at the centre again, using the popularity built through earlier comic and romantic roles.

Along with Ayushmann Khurrana, the central cast features Rakul Preet Singh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sara Ali Khan in important roles, shaping the romantic comedy's core drama. Supporting characters are played by Vijay Raaz, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Vashishtha and Ayesha Raza Mishra, bringing familiar faces to the ensemble. Industry watchers note that Pati Patni Aur Woh Do benefits from its link with the earlier Pati Patni Aur Woh while standing as a separate story. With Mudassar Aziz handling both writing and direction, the film's performance will indicate how audiences respond to this style of sequel-driven romantic comedy. And now that Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has hit the screens, here's what the audience has to say.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do X Review
Taking to microblogging site Twitter, a user wrote, "The appeal of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do for me is that the movie provides exactly what it says it will: laughter, confusion, romance, suspense and great performances, in a very entertaining film.". Another user tweeted, "#PatiPatniAurWohDo In the end, the film is mildly entertaining but far from memorable. It has its moments, though it ultimately settles for being an average, strictly one-time watch."
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Twitter Review: What People Didn't Like?
To note, a section of fans were quite disappointed by Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. A user gave the movie two star rating and tweeted, "Watched #PatiPatniAurWohDo and honestly felt very disappointed. It looks like another sequel that might end up failing at the box office. Sadly, film turned out to be even weaker than the first part". Another user gave Pati Patni Aur Woh Do 1.5 star rating and wrote, "DISAPPOINTING... While the plot itself is borrowed from different films, the script is extremely weak and leaves the audience irritated... As expected, #AyushmannKhurrana is the top performer BUT everything is so repetitive that even he comes across as MONOTONOUS. The film feels forced as the audience feels that the issue can be resolved in a much simpler way, without the unnecessary tracks. Plus, the comedy just doesn't land in most of the scenes. On the whole, it is a weak film that may not do well at the box office. And is not even half as entertaining and funny as its 2019 prequel starring Kartik Aaryan".
Meanwhile, Ayushmann, in a conversation with India Today, opened up about the comparison between Pati Patni Aur Woh Do with that of Sanjeev Kumar and Kartik Aaryan starrer Pati Patni Aur Wo which came out in 1978 and 2019 respectively. He stated, "It's not really a comparison. We are simply taking it forward. This is like a pati universe. We have spy universes and horror universes, but more than 40 crore husbands in India don't have a universe of their own. We are just building that universe further. The film is immensely funny and entertaining, and I'm excited for audiences to experience it together because it's a community watch".
