Industry reports suggest Raaka will bring Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun together on screen for the first time. India Today reported that Shah Rukh Khan is expected to appear briefly in the Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone-led project, which places the film among the most talked about upcoming collaborations in Indian cinema.

Raaka reunites Shah Rukh Khan with director Atlee after Jawan, a film that strengthened their working and personal bond. Deepika Padukone also returns alongside Shah Rukh Khan, after earlier joint projects such as Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan, adding to interest around the reported cameo.

The potential pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Allu Arjun has been discussed inside the industry for some time. Allu Arjun was earlier expected to feature in a small role in Jawan in 2023. The actor is said to be guarding a new look created for that film, avoiding early exposure in another release.

Reports on Jailer 2 stated that Shah Rukh Khan’s fresh appearance for King is central to current choices. Since Jailer 2 is expected to hit cinemas before King, the team did not want Shah Rukh Khan’s new style seen earlier in a cameo, which could reduce impact when King reaches theatres.
