Ranveer Singh Cheers For Deepika Padukone As The OnSet Program Crosses 5000+ Entries- "Paying It Forward...."

Actor, producer, entrepreneur and mental health advocate Deepika Padukone continues to strengthen her commitment to nurturing fresh voices in the entertainment industry through her initiative, The OnSet Program, launched under her platform Create With Me. The initiative, aimed at empowering aspiring creative talent across film, television and advertising, has already received an overwhelming response with over 5000 entries from across the country and beyond.

Sharing an update, Deepika recently posted a video revealing that she with her team has spent the last three months carefully reviewing the large volume of submissions. What makes the initiative stand out is her personal involvement - from going through applications to directly calling and interacting with several applicants, understanding their journeys and creative aspirations.

She captioned the video saying:

The OnSet Program was first announced by Deepika on her birthday as part of her vision to contribute meaningfully to the ecosystem that shaped her career. Designed as an experiential learning initiative, the program focuses on identifying and nurturing promising talent across multiple departments of filmmaking.

The first phase will offer opportunities in writing, direction, camera, lighting, editing, sound design, art direction, costume design, hair styling, make-up artistry and production. Participants will gain hands-on, real on-set experience while learning directly from industry professionals.

Through initiatives like The OnSet Program, Deepika Padukone continues to extend her impact far beyond acting - actively shaping the future of the entertainment industry by opening doors for the next generation of storytellers and creators.
