Salim Khan Health Update Today: The 90-year-old legendary Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan has left everyone concerned about his latest health scare. Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan's father has been all over the news after he was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after the Sholay writer complained of feeling giddy.

According to journalist Vickey Lalwani, Salim Khan was diagnosed with a blood clot. Family members, including son Salman Khan, wives Helen and Salma Khan, daughter Alizeh and Arpita, grandsons Arhaan and Nirvan, were spotted visiting the veteran at the hospital. Javed Akhtar and actor Sanjay Dutt were also papped last night as they visited Salim Khan.

Salim Khan Health Update: Lilavati Hospital To Issue Statement Today

Lilavati Hospital doctor Jalil Parkar, treating Salim Khan, previously confirmed that the veteran screenwriter was brought to the hospital on Tuesday morning at around 8:30 AM.

"He (Khan) was brought into the emergency by their family doctor Dr Sandeep Chopra. Emergency care was initiated in the emergency and Mr Salim Khan was shifted to the intensive care on the 1st floor. A team of doctors consisting of Dr Vinay Chavan (neurologist), Dr Ajit Menon (cardiologist) & Dr Nitin Dange (neurosurgeon) and Dr Bineet Ahluwalia attended on him, (sic)" Dr. Parkar said.

As per reports, the doctors are expected to share an official update on Salim Khan's health today at around 11:00 AM after seeking necessary permissions from the family.

Meanwhile, a report by Times Now suggests that the 90-year-old is likely to undergo surgery today. The decision reportedly comes after a sudden rise in blood pressure led to internal bleeding, prompting doctors to recommend immediate medical attention.

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was admitted to the ICU at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday morning (February 17). As per a report by Filmfare, his condition declined later in the night, following which he was placed on ventilator support as a precautionary measure.
