Shraddha Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Shivangi Kapoor And Siddhanth Kapoor Don’t Live Together? Here’s Why
Shraddha Kapoor’s family appears to be embracing a more independent living arrangement, even as the actor remains busy with her upcoming film work. The Kapoor household, once known to live together in Juhu, is now spread across different homes in Mumbai and Goa, according to industry buzz around the family.

The development has drawn attention because all four members of the family have their own spaces now. According to a Free Press Journal report, Shraddha Kapoor, her father Shakti Kapoor, mother Shivangi Kapoor and brother Siddhanth Kapoor are living in separate residences. For a film family that has long been associated with Juhu, the shift marks a noticeable change in lifestyle after the pandemic years.
Shraddha Kapoor’s Juhu home and work on Eetha
Shraddha is currently said to be staying in a rented sea-facing apartment in Juhu. The home was reportedly rented from Hrithik Roshan after the actor’s career saw another major upswing with the success of Stree 2. The apartment is in one of Mumbai’s most high-profile celebrity neighbourhoods, where several film personalities have homes.
According to the available account, Shraddha spent months reworking the interiors of the apartment to suit her own taste. Hrithik’s home was reportedly designed around his personal lifestyle, including open spaces and fitness-focused areas. Shraddha, however, is believed to have wanted a warmer, more personalised layout for herself.
The actor is also working on Eetha, a biopic based on Marathi folk artist Vitabai Narayangaonkar. The film is understood to be in the final stages of production and is currently being looked at for an August release. For Shraddha, the project comes after the enormous visibility of Stree 2 and could place her in a more performance-driven space.
Her Juhu residence is described as her primary base for now. Family members reportedly visit her there, while writer Rahul Mody is also said to be a regular visitor. Shraddha has not made any formal public statement about her living arrangement, so the details remain in the realm of close-circle industry information.
How the Kapoor family’s homes are now divided
Until around 2020, Shakti Kapoor, Shivangi Kapoor, Shraddha and Siddhanth were said to have lived together in a Juhu apartment overlooking the beach. That arrangement reportedly changed after the pandemic, when each family member began spending more time in a home suited to their personal routine.
Shakti Kapoor, one of Hindi cinema’s most recognisable villains and comic actors, is now said to be living separately in a suburban flat. The actor has remained a familiar public figure across generations, from his mainstream film work to his appearances on television and reality formats.
Shivangi Kapoor, meanwhile, has reportedly invested in a spacious apartment in Goa. She is said to spend considerable time there and often hosts family members, including her sisters Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure. Goa has increasingly become a second-home destination for many film families, especially after the pandemic changed work and travel patterns.
Siddhanth Kapoor is also said to have a row-house-style home in Goa. When he is not working on film or music commitments, he reportedly spends time there and follows his interest in sports. Unlike Shraddha, who remains closely tied to Mumbai because of shoots and industry commitments, Siddhanth appears to prefer the slower pace of coastal living.
A new Mahalaxmi home may become Shraddha Kapoor’s second base
The Kapoor family’s housing story may change again once Shraddha’s new Mahalaxmi residence is ready. Shraddha and Shakti Kapoor reportedly purchased an apartment overlooking the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in January last year. The home is said to be under renovation, with Shivangi overseeing the interiors.
If the Mahalaxmi apartment becomes ready as planned, Shraddha could have a second strong base in Mumbai. Juhu places her close to the traditional film industry belt, while Mahalaxmi offers easier access to South and Central Mumbai. For actors with demanding schedules, such practical considerations often influence where they choose to live.
The home is also expected to include a dedicated portion for her parents. That arrangement would allow Shraddha to maintain privacy while ensuring that Shakti and Shivangi have space whenever they are in Mumbai. It also suggests that the family’s separate homes do not necessarily indicate distance, but a more flexible way of living.
Siddhanth, however, is expected to continue spending much of his time in Goa. His preference for an independent beachside home appears to suit his lifestyle. In that sense, the Kapoor family’s current arrangement reflects a broader shift among urban families, where adult children and parents often maintain separate homes while staying closely connected.
For Shraddha, the immediate focus remains her professional slate, especially Eetha. At the same time, her changing residential choices show how her personal life is being shaped around work, privacy and family. The Kapoors may no longer share one address, but their homes appear to be built around individual comfort rather than separation.
