In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit, the Nima Denzonpa actress shares how joining Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana feels like a career milestone. Das says the chance to appear in the film, even briefly, feels huge. Das hopes the audience connects with the story and enjoys the cinematic experience.

She believes Ramayana could gain cult status because of its ambitious vision and emotional depth. The production scale impresses Das, as do the detailed sets and large crew. Das says the storytelling, combined with powerful performances, creates something special that stays with everyone present on set.

Sharing on-set memories, Das recalls watching Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi perform as Rama and Sita. She felt Sai Pallavi completely looked like Sita once cameras rolled. Ranbir Kapoor, according to Das, fully transformed into Rama, which made each scene feel surreal and moving to witness.

"When I worked with Sai on set, she genuinely looked like Sita, and Ranbir completely embodied Rama-it was amazing to witness," the Assamese beauty quips.

Das remembers the casting call for Ramayana as a moment of disbelief. The team said Das was confirmed, yet the first reaction was, "You mean shortlisted, right?" The reply came, "No, you're locked." Only after several production members called did the reality feel concrete and overwhelming.

Even after confirmation, Das kept things under wraps, following a belief about waiting until shoot day. Stepping onto the Ramayana set for the first time made everything feel real. The grand design, the number of people, and working with such prominent actors turned that first day into a deeply memorable experience.
