Rumours of their romance started to gain momentum after they were papped on one of their date nights. They had even set the internet on fire with their unmissable chemistry as showstoppers at a fashion show. Then, in mid-2025, they made their relationship public.

Amid their ongoing romance, reports of their breakup have left fans heartbroken. According to a Filmfare report, the couple has allegedly parted ways "quietly" months after dating each other. The exact reason behind their split remains unknown. Neither Tara nor Veer has addressed their breakup reports as of now.

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the two still follow each other on Instagram.

In one of the interviews, the Sky Force actor opened up about their first date and revealed that he played the piano, while Tara sang with him until sunrise. "I love that we have embraced our affection and love since our first date and have never shied away from expressing how we feel wherever we are, (sic)" Veer told Travel + Leisure. Talking about their early connection, he'd added, "It was probably our first date night, where I played the piano, and she sang until the sun came out."

Adding fuel to the fire, the video showed Veer in the audience, giving an awkward expression, as dissected by the netizen.

Later, the actress slammed the trolls while callng out "false narratives" and "paid PR campaigns". She also insisted that love and truth always win in her caption.

In the comment section, Veer had cleared the air about his expression and clarified that the video was selectively edited.
