"The City's Vibrant Community Spirit Was In Full Display At The Marathon," Says Anand Pandit
On January 19, well-known producer Anand Pandit joined thousands of participants at the prestigious Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) and completed the half marathon course. Known as an inveterate fitness enthusiast in industry circles, the 63-year old Pandit ran covered over 21 kilometres with ease.

Having also taken part in cross-country cycling expeditions abroad, Pandit says, "Any long-distance sporting discipline tests one's physical and mental endurance. Finishing the half marathon after such a gruelling run brought with it extreme happiness and intense relief."
Known for some of the most prominent real estate landmarks across Mumbai as well as multilingual hits in cinema, Pandit was thrilled with the turnout at the marathon. "It was wonderful to see people from different walks of life, running, walking, jogging to the finishing line. Spending some time among them reminded me once again of just how diverse, dynamic and vibrant Mumbai is. We need more such events that celebrate the spirit of Mumbai by bringing people together and promoting a culture of health and fitness," he concludes
