"The Film Already Feels Like A Blockbuster," Says Swastika Mukherjee On Chheledhora
Actor Swastika Mukherjee has started shooting for her upcoming Indo-American film Chheledhora. The film went on floors on 2nd March and is currently being shot in the scenic location Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh.

While the story is intense, the mood on set has been lively. Since the shoot coincided with Holi, the cast and crew celebrated the festival together in Arunachal Pradesh, taking a short break from filming to enjoy colours, food and music in the beautiful surroundings of Ziro.
Talking about the experience, Swastika shared,
"There's never a dull moment on the sets of Chheledhora. We began with a birthday celebration for one of our young actors and soon found ourselves in the middle of a riot of Holi colours. Between filming, endless conversations and shared meals, the entire team has truly bonded.
Our producer, Ann Mukherjee, may live in the U.S., but she's a thoroughbred Bong and a passionate connoisseur of Bengali cuisine. She cooked an incredible Holi feast for us, and her world-famous Bengali mutton curry, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ziro, made the experience unforgettable. Honestly, in my mind, this film already feels like a blockbuster."
The film is directed by Shieladitya Moulik and blends elements of a family drama and thriller. The film also stars Sumana Das and Sahidur Rahman, along with child actors Riyan Kandili Elapra and Sreenika Ghoshal in important roles. The film's crew also includes Italian cinematographer Vincenzo Condorelli.
Chheledhora is produced by Handyyman and Sita22 Films. The makers are planning to take the film to international film festivals after completion.
