The fire reportedly broke out inside the theater when a section of fans allegedly attempted to perform aarti and burst crackers during a key moment in the film. The blaze was said to have occurred close to the screen area, leading to immediate concern among the audience seated inside the hall.

NDTV reported that the incident happened around the time of Prabhas' on-screen entry, a moment that triggered loud celebrations from fans.
