Triptii Dimri Becomes Victoria’s Secret’s FIRST Indian Brand Ambassador; Calls It 'Special Moment'

Victoria's Secret introduces the Summer Signature campaign in India, naming actor Triptii Dimri as the first Indian brand ambassador for the lingerie label. The launch marks a focused step into the Indian market, placing Triptii Dimri at the centre of visuals promoting lingerie and sleepwear across the country.


The Summer Signature campaign aims to project confidence and joy while embracing a sensual image through relaxed pieces. It highlights easy-to-wear lingerie and sleepwear that feature the heritage stripe design. The collection reflects Victoria's Secret's familiar style while drawing on Triptii Dimri's screen presence to anchor the imagery.

Triptii Dimri On The Becoming The Brand Ambassador

Describing the association, Triptii shares personal thoughts on self-image and comfort. Triptii says, "For me, being sexy is not just about looks, it's about confidence. It's how comfortably you carry yourself. And owning who you truly are." The brand places this message at the heart of its communication for India.Calling the collaboration a turning point in an already fast-rising career, Triptii told Bollywood Hungama, "It feels amazing, I'm very very excited. It's a very special moment for me. It's like a dream come true." Triptii Dimri highlighted that Victoria's Secret's current direction aligns with personal beliefs about beauty and identity. Triptii explained that the label appeals due to its shifting stance on representation, saying the brand does not limit beauty to a single template and instead highlights confidence, self-acceptance and every aspect of an individual, both the celebrated and the flawed.

Sharing this connection, Triptii added, "I think the fact that the brand is constantly evolving, you know, that's something that really resonated with me. Victoria's Secret is not about one idea of beauty. For Victoria's Secret, beauty is all about confidence, it's about celebrating who you truly are, your good sides, your bad sides, and celebrating each and every version of you. So, I think that's something that really resonated with me."Triptii Dimri has also been introduced as the face of Victoria's Secret's Summer Signature collection. Triptii described the range as comfortable, versatile and easy to style, stressing that the designs support individuality without demanding extra effort. Triptii said the pieces allow the wearer to "own" the look rather than feel constrained by it.

Describing the line, Triptii noted, "What I love the most about the Summer Signature is how naturally it celebrates individuality. The pieces are so wonderful, they're so versatile, very, very comfortable, and stylish as well. So, you don't have to try too hard to look good in them, you just own them and you look good," she said.

Abhishek Bajpai, CEO of Apparel Group India, outlined why Victoria's Secret chose this moment to introduce an Indian brand ambassador. Bajpai said the company has spent the past few years learning about local preferences and believes the label has now matured in India. According to Bajpai, that journey created the right conditions to appoint someone who reflects the brand's current outlook.

Explaining why Triptii Dimri was selected, Bajpai said, "I think she's fabulous, she's very very confident. What she's on the screen, outside also, she carries a very strong persona. And these are the traits that we look for somebody who would represent a brand like Victoria. And she's a perfect fit."

Triptii Dimri also spoke about a changing personal idea of confidence, moving away from performance towards honesty. Triptii said, "Initially, for me, it was just knowing it all, having it all, and fake it till you make it. But I think now it's more about being sure of yourself, just accepting the bad parts also. I think not every day is perfect, there are days you feel good, there are days you don't feel so good, but just having your back on those days, I think that's something that is confidence to me."

This collaboration marks the first time Victoria's Secret has appointed an Indian face in an official ambassador role, signalling deeper engagement with audiences in India. The move aligns evolving brand values with Triptii Dimri's public image, while anchoring upcoming campaigns, including the Summer Signature collection, firmly within the Indian market.
