"Wellness Trends Are Damn Confusing”: Shruti Haasan On PCOS And Listening To Her Body
Shruti Haasan has been vocal about taking a practical, personal approach to health, especially while dealing with PCOS and endometriosis. In an interview, she spoke about avoiding wellness trends and focusing on what actually works for her body.

"I don't know what the wellness trend is because they keep changing... it's damn confusing," she said.
Instead, her focus is personal. "Figure out your metabolism, your body, what works for you, what doesn't work."
Living with PCOS and endometriosis, she adjusts her routine based on how she feels. "If it's a really bad cramp day, then I don't push myself. It's important to listen to your body." On those days, she prefers rest. "If you're at home... just sit down with a heat pad... watch something that makes you laugh."
Her workouts include cardio and MMA, but flexibility matters more than sticking to a fixed plan.
Diet is also about what suits her. "Everyone says eat chicken... I don't like it very much and it doesn't work for me." Instead, she prefers fish. "I find fish proteins work much better, easier for me to digest."
She's also made small changes that helped. "Removing caffeine has really, really helped."
Her takeaway is simple. "Just because everybody says do this, it's not necessary it'll work for you."
For her, wellness isn't about trends it's about understanding your own body and responding to it.
