Aakhri Sach Update: Recently released Disney+Hotstar web series Aakhri Sach is momentarily presiding over the OTT space with its absolutely thrilling and suspenseful plotting. As per the Chinese whispers, the story is based on Delhi's famous Burari suicides. It is believed that the producers, Preeti-Neeti Simoes and Nirvirkar Productions, postponed the shoots for a couple of months to get the perfect cast for their most ambitious project.

SONAM KAPOOR WAS THE FIRST CHOICE FOR AAKHRI SACH

According to a recent report by a leading media publication, before finalising Tamannaah Bhatia as the lead star, it was Sonam Kapoor who was locked in to portray the main role of a cop in the show Aakhri Sach. Yes, you read that right!

After Sonam's national award-winning performance in Neerja, producers of the show believed she would be one of the finest actresses for this real-life story. Although the Khoobsurat actress doted on the story and was nearly on the panel of the star cast, she had to opt out due to her pregnancy.

TAMANNAAH BHATIA GETTING RAVE REVIEWS FOR AAKHRI SACH

Therefore, the search for bold actresses came to a close with Tamannaah Bhatia taking over as the investigating officer in the show, and no doubt she's seen doing an absolutely stunning job with her aptitude. However, Sonam Kapoor was the one who signed the show, but due to her pregnancy, she had to drop the script.
