Actress Sheena Chohan Performs A Dance Paying Tribute To Lord Ganesha

Sheena Chohan, a versatile actor known for her work in "The Trail," "The Fame Game" and "The City of Dreams," talks about how she's celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi visiting Lal Bagh this year dressed as her character Avali in the upcoming Sant Tukaram biopic.
Sheena shares, "Visiting Lal Bagh Gali for the first time during Ganpati celebrations in Mumbai, dressed like my character in my upcoming Sant Tukaram film, was a transformative experience. Amidst the vibrant colors and artistry, I learned that Ganesha is not just made here; he's woven into the very fabric of Mumbai's culture."
The actress has also shared a dance video on her social, paying tribute to Lord Ganesha. Talking about the same, she states, "To dress like and embody this important woman in Marathi history, during the Ganpati celebrations, was my way of celebrating this important festival. It was also very special for me performing to this divine song of Ganpati Bappa and pay my tribute to him."

In her upcoming Hindi feature film, Sant Tukaram, directed by Aditya Om- the character, which she plays opposite Subodh Bhave, is a Marathi born historic role who is Sant Tukaram's wife - Avali.
Speaking about the character she mentions, "She is fiercely independent. She has beliefs, is full of integrity and is unwaveringly truthful in her love, in her devotion. Even in the hardest parts of her journey, she carries so much grace and dignity and those were the parts that I connected to, that she went through the worst adversities but held herself with such courage and determination."
