EXCLUSIVE! Ishwak Singh Elated With Rocket Boys 2 Success, Says ‘This Is Something That Comes…’

Rocky Boys 2 Update: After a long wait, the second season of SonyLIV's much-acclaimed series Rocky Boys finally premiered on March 16. Starring Ishwak Singh and Jim Sarbh in the leading roles of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and Dr. Homi J Bhabha respectively, the biographical series narrates the extraordinary journey of India's greatest scientists as they usher in a new era where the sovereignty of their nation is inviolable.

Just like its first season, Rocket Boys 2 is also getting a massive response from viewers and the whole team is super happy with the reactions.

Elated with the positive response, Rocket Boys 2 lead star Ishwak Singh exclusively talked to Filmibeat about the series, reactions to his performance, and upcoming projects.

ISHWAK SINGH HAPPY WITH SUCCESS OF ROCKET BOYS 2

Talking about the success of Rocket Boys 2, Ishwak shared his happiness with us and said, "I'm extremely happy. This is something that comes at the end of two years of consistent work, plus a lot of prep. I always saw this two-part series as one story and I was eagerly waiting for Rocket Boys season two to come out. And (was) really hoping it resonates with the audience just like season one. I'm so glad it did."

On being asked about the most unforgettable compliment he got for his performance so far, Ishwak revealed that he's constantly getting congratulatory messages and it's difficult to pick just one.

However, he stated, "(I'm getting) lots of compliments. It's still pouring in, messages, DMs, and phone calls, all from people from the fraternity and outside audiences. Also from friends and family. So it's very difficult to pick one. But, I think when people from the scientific community who have been studying about Dr. Vikram Sarabai, some of them who've known the family and been associated with the institutions he started, really say that they believe in my performance. They were convinced that they were watching Vikram bhai, that is definitely something I cherish the most."

UPCOMING PROJECTS OF ROCKET BOYS 2 STAR ISHWAK SINGH

Now that the second season of Rocket Boys has been released, fans of Ishwak Singh are eagerly waiting to see him in more interesting projects.

Sharing details about his upcoming projects with Filmibeat, he concluded, "Currently, I'm shooting for another series that is something which isn't announced. So, that's new. I've been on the go, I've been on the move in last two years, since Pataal Lok. I shot Rocket Boys consistently for a year, then I shot a show for Amazon and Emmay called Adhura and after that, I did a film that I really believe in, Berlin, directed by Atul Sabarwal along with Aparshakti Khurrana and Rahul Bose. I did a wonderful film, written by Nitish Tiwari, and produced by Sidharth Roy Kapur, RSVP, and Nitish called Bas Karo Aunty. That's again something that should be out very soon and something I'm very excited about, a very wholesome, beautiful story. I have a couple of other projects that haven't been announced so I can't really talk but they should be out soon. A film and a show that I did, which should be out this year."
