Giving
insights
about
his
role
Prashanth
exclusively
told
Filmibeat,
"Scoop,
as
evidenced
from
the
trailers,
is
a
crime
drama
accentuating
on
journalism.
I'm
portraying
the
role
of
a
junior
reporter
and
am
in
the
select
group
of
reporters
and
journalists
alongside
the
leading
lady
of
the
show,
Karishma
Tanna.
I'm
a
novice
at
work
who
is
still
trying
to
set
himself
respectably
at
work
especially
when
deluged
with
top
senior
journalists."
Sharing
about
how
he
prepped
for
the
role
he
stated,
"Hansal
Sir
naturally
presided
over
the
session
where
we
would
read
our
lines
and
be
clarified
in
case
of
any
doubt.
I
had
already
begun
the
research
on
my
part
solely
on
the
basis
of
the
brief
I
was
relayed
to
by
the
direction
team.
I
referred
to
the
Internet
on
the
matter
and
started
preparing
notes
-
notes
which
I
would
then
use
in
the
act.
I
bought
a
pen
and
a
small
notepad
meant
especially
for
this
profession
(journalism)
which
I
used
throughout
the
series
in
actual
scenes.
I
started
looking
for
eminent
stories
across
the
country
coinciding
the
happenings
of
this
story
(on
Scoop);
as
I
was
a
journalist,
I
would
be
tasked
to
present
top
stories
or
"scoops" as
the
lingo
goes
in
this
profession
and
so
I
carefully
and
meticulously
chose
stories
to
present
to
Mohammed
Zeeshan
Ayyub
Sir's
character
on
the
series.
Even
for
the
dialogues
that
I
had,
my
content
in
the
notepad
was
in
congruity
with
those
dialogues
so
as
to
complement
and
titivate
the
scene
as
whole."
Describing
his
working
experience
with
co-actors
Karishma
Tanna
and
Zeeshan
he
says,
"I
was
the
first
one
to
reach
the
venue
on
the
group
reading
day.
And
in
the
interim
of
others' arrival,
I
kept
rehearsing
how
I
would
greet
the
cast
and
the
director.
I
still
remember
I
was
a
little
diffident
as
Hansal
Sir,
Karishma
Ma'am
&
Zeeshan
Sir
are
all
big
names.
I
dreaded
I
might
be
overlooked
by
them
but
to
my
relieving
surprise,
all
of
them
were
beyond
affable.
The
whole
session
was
very
light-hearted
in
its
tone
without
letting
go
of
the
sincerity.
Zeeshan
Sir
oriented
himself
so
sweetly
to
me
and
I
couldn't
believe
it
when
he
shook
my
hands.
In
fact,
I
surmise
it
made
the
shoot
a
lot
smoother
upon
having
gotten
acclimated
to
each
other."
