Singh,
has

from
the
audience.
Filmibeat
caught
up
with
the
talented
actress
over
a
cup
of
coffee,
discussing
things
related
to
her
career.
From
speaking
about
her
shift
to
Bollywood
to
expressing
her
interest
in
working
in
OTT,
Aparna
spilled
the
beans
on
different
things.
She
also
spoke
about
the
North-South
debate,
stating
that
she
is
keen
to
work
in
the
entertainment
industry
and
language
doesn't
matter
for
her.
Here
are
excerpts
from
the
interview.
Q-
You
are
a
very
successful
actress
and
model
in
the
Middle
east,
why
the
sudden
shift
to
Bollywood?
A-
I'm
always
looking
out
for
new
opportunities
and
experiences.
Being
Indian
myself,
and
having
grown
up
watching
Indian
cinema,
the
transition
seemed
natural
to
me.
That
being
said,
the
Middle
East
will
always
be
a
part
of
my
work
and
life,
I
don't
plan
on
leaving
it
behind.
Q-
What
are
your
thoughts
on
OTT?
Would
you
prefer
doing
movies
or
OTT?
A-
I
love
the
doors
that
OTT
has
opened
up
for
content.
It
allows
filmmakers
and
actors
to
venture
out
into
stories
that
would
have
been
considered
too
"niche" for
mainstream
cinema.
I'm
a
sucker
for
stories.
At
this
stage,
I
would
depend
on
the
story
and
the
director's
vision
to
pick
a
project
and
not
pay
too
much
attention
to
the
mode
of
release.
Q-
What
genres
you
would
love
to
explore?
A-
Action,
romance
and
crime/thriller
are
my
top
3
genres
as
an
audience.
So
I
would
like
to
see
myself
involved
in
projects
that
I
too
would
look
forward
to
watching
on
any
given
day.
Q-
What
are
your
thoughts
on
the
South
vs.
North
debate?
Do
you
think
of
them
as
different
industries
or
not?
A-
I
think
cinema
is
universal.
Today,
we
have
access
to
movies
from
around
the
world,
and
we
have
the
palate
to
consume
these
varied
pieces
of
art.
For
me
it's
not
a
matter
or
picking
between
North
and
South
cinema.
They
are
unique
and
rooted
in
their
own
ways
and
I
would
love
to
be
able
to
contribute
with
the
character
I'm
asked
to
play
in
every
circumstance.
Q-
How
was
your
experience
filming
Kanna
Wich
Vaaliyan?
We
heard
Yo
Yo
Honey
Singh
and
Hommie
Dilliwala
flew
to
Dubai
for
you.
A-
I
was
being
a
bit
cheeky
saying
that
in
a
past
interview.
I'm
sure
the
team
conceptualized
the
visuals
of
the
song
a
while
ago
and
Dubai
fit
their
vision.
I'm
happy
the
stars
aligned,
which
allowed
me
to
be
a
part
of
this
fun
experience.
Q-
Tell
us
about
your
upcoming
projects
that
are
in
pipeline.
A-
I'm
in
the
process
of
finding
my
footing
through
stories
and
characters
that
I
would
want
to
essay
and
do
justice
to.
Nothing
official
yet,
but
we're
on
our
way.
