Imlie Actor Karan Thakur Happy To Shoot With Director Vipul Shah For Web series Commando

Commando Update: Actor Karan Thakur, who was last seen in TV show Imlie as an antagonist, feels blessed to be directed by popular film maker Vipul Shah for webseries Commando, that features Adah Sharma and is currently streaming on Hotstar.

He said, "Being a fan of action thriller I always cherished the Commando movie franchise directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah starring Vidhyut Jamwal. And the time I was finalised for the webseries it was a dream come true moment. I'm playing the role of Faizal Khan, who is an ISI Officer works as a PA of Pakistan's Major General Jaffar (Amit Sial). I always use to think that the director who makes an action movie are always aggressive and loud on sets but my assumption got cleared post shooting with Vipul sir as he is always very calm and composed while directing his actors. I'm blessed to enjoy this opportunity."

The actor continued to share his experience working in OTT platform. "After being part of many successful TV shows. I'm thankful to enjoy a good career in digital series. After enjoying appreciation for Avrodh 2, my two series released together yesterday (11 Aug). The first is Commando and the second one is Aarambh on a new OTT app which is directed by Shaurya Singh. It's great to see that audience are loving your work and reaching out to you on social media to appreciate your work. This is quite motivating."

Karan looks forward to explore more OTT shows. "I enjoyed shooting for OTT series and the platform is helping you to connect more with young audience. I'm now more keen to explore the digital platform and play more challenging and promising roles. But that doesn't mean I'm taking break from TV. If I get offer to play a good layered roles. I will definitely take it."

Karan is known for featuring in TV shows like 'Bepanaah Pyaarr', Bhagyavidhaata, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (S2), Half Marriage, Badi Door Se Aayen Hain among others.
