Kajol plays Noyonika Sengupta, who has to go through the trials of life after her husband, played by Jisshu Sengupta, gets imprisoned, as she has to rebuild her life to support her family. The courtroom drama also stars Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait, and Gaurav Pandey in key roles. The Trial is streaming on July 14 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Set in Punjab, Kohrra revolves around a police investigation that begins with the shocking discovery of a murdered Non-Resident Indian (NRI) shortly before his wedding, and slowly, as the show progresses, it reveals a complicated network of lies, dark-hidden facts, and the dynamics of a dysfunctional family. Helmed by Randeep Jha, the show is streaming on Netflix. It stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Varun Badola, Harleen Sethi, Rachel Shelly, and Manish Chaudhary.
