Koffee With Karan 8: The anticipation for the eighth season of Karan Johar's iconic talk show, Koffee With Karan, is at an all-time high, and fans are eager to uncover the star-studded guest list.

While the season is set to kick-start with the electrifying presence of Bollywood's hottest couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the burning question on everyone's mind is whether the Bollywood king, Shah Rukh Khan, will grace the Koffee couch.

Karan Johar, who embarked on his talk show journey with "Koffee with Karan" back in 2004, had Bollywood legends Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as his inaugural guests.

However, despite Shah Rukh Khan's remarkable success with two massive hits this year, he has been missing from the media limelight, leaving his fans speculating about his potential return for the eighth season of KJo's chat show.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Karan Johar addressed this burning question and put light on a twist that may not entirely satisfy SRK fans who are eagerly waiting to see the beloved actor on the chat show.

He said, "With all reason, I think... he's there, but I don't think he wants to be in the forefront and speak, and I think he deserves his silence. I think we, as fans and filmmakers, should give him that."

Shah Rukh Khan, who has graced the Koffee With Karan couch in seven previous episodes, was last seen alongside Alia Bhatt in the premiere episode of Season 5, back in 2016, before the release of their film, Dear Zindagi.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 8 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on October 26 (Thursday) at 12 AM.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan's this year's releases Pathaan and Jawan have shattered several box-office records and proved to be a massive hit. He will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. The film will hit the theaters on December 22, 2023.
