At the age of just 19, Sumbul Touqeer Khan has established herself among the most loved TV stars. She first rose to fame after playing the titular role in the hit Star Plus show Imlie. The daily soap made her a household name and fans loved her role.
Last year, Sumbul bid goodbye to Imlie after the makers introduced a generation leap and entered Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16 house in October last year. As the show ended two weeks ago, the actress won many hearts during her stint in the controversial reality show and got appreciation for being real.

According to the ongoing buzz, the second season of Ekta Kapoot's Lock Upp is going to premiere soon and the makers have approached many popular celebrities for it. Now, Sumbul Touqeer Khan has revealed if she's interested in participating in Lock Upp 2.

In a recent interview, Sumbul Touqeer Khan was asked if she'll be interested in participating in Ekta Kapoor's Lock Upp 2 after being a part of Bigg Boss 16. Reacting to it, the actress stated that she's not interested as of now.

Revealing the same, Sumbul told Tellychakkar, "I have just come out after being locked in a house for 4 months, why would I want to do that again that's the first thing but there has been no talk like that yet, but my thing is I want to look at open skies for a little while now."
Sumbul Touqeer Khan On Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia Rejecting Lock Upp 2
There's also a buzz that Sumbul's Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has rejected the offer of Lock Upp 2. According to Sumbul, Nimrit might have the same reason for turning down Lock Upp as they have just come out of the Bigg Boss 16 house and are having a great time being outdoors.
Upcoming Projects Of Sumbul Touqeer Khan
Ever since Sumbul got eliminated from Bigg Boss 16, she has been in talks for multiple projects. She recently confirmed being a part of the Disney+Hotstar show Deat Ishq Sehban Azim and Niyati Fatnani in lead roles. Besides the Naagin 7 rumours, there's also a buzz that she might enter Kundali Bhagya after the leap. However, it is not yet confirmed.
Premiere Date Of Lock Upp 2
Coming back to Lock Upp 2, the much-awaited reality show is reportedly going to launch in mid-March. However, the makers haven't yet revealed its premiere date.
