Lock Upp 2: Kangana Ranaut, Karan Kundrra’s Show Likely To Air On THIS Channel & NOT Colors TV?

Reality show fans are elated as the second season of Ekta Kapoor's successful reality show Lock Upp is going to premiere soon. The TV czarina announced the same last month and revealed that Bollywood 'queen' Kangana Ranaut will be returning as the host.

While Kangana is excited to be a part of Lock Upp 2, there's still no clarity about TV star Karan Kundrra's comeback as the ruthless 'jailer' in the show. Also, the makers have reportedly approached many known names to feature as contestants in the upcoming season.

The team wants to make Lock Upp 2 bigger than the last season and is trying to rope in a great set of contestants. While the first season of the controversial reality show streamed on MX Player and ALTBalaji, there has been a buzz that the show might get shifted to TV this time.

LOCK UPP 2 TO LIKELY TO PREMIERE ON MTV?

Reportedly, the makers have finalised a channel to air the second season of Lock Upp. Yes, you read that right! Well, if all goes well, the much-awaited reality show will air on a youth-based channel.

According to a report in The Siasat Daily, Ekta Kapoor, the producer, has chosen MTV channel to air her show. However, neither the show's creators nor MTV channel has officially confirmed this development yet.

HINA KHAN & RUBINA DILAIK MIGHT BE A PART OF LOCK UPP 2

As Karan Kundrra's 'jailer' stint isn't yet confirmed, there have been speculations that the makers have also approached Rubina Dilaik and Hina Khan to be a part of Lock Upp 2.

While Rubina is expected to join Karan as jailer, Hina Khan might be introduced as the prison warden who'll keep a tab on things happening in the jail. However, an official announcement is still awaited.

LIST OF LOCK UPP 2 CONTESTANTS

Umar Riaz, Divya Agarwal, Bigg Boss 16 contestant Archana Gautam, and Soundarya Sharma among other celebrities might be seen as participants in Lock Upp 2.
