As Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp is making a comeback with its second season, the latest buzz suggests that the reality show is likely to air on a popular GEC at a late-night slot and not on MTV.
Ever since producer Ekta Kapoor announced the second season of Lock Upp, everyone is eagerly awaiting its premiere. To be hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut once again, the makers are in talks with many popular names and are trying to rope in a great set of contestants just like its first season.
While the names of Lock Upp 2 contestants aren't yet out, there's also no official confirmation about Karan Kundrra being a part of the show as the jailer. Also, there have been speculations that Hina Khan and Rubina Dilaik might also be a part of the second season as wardens.
Amid all this, it is being said that the second season of Lock Upp will air on TV, unlike the first season which streamed on ALTBalaji and MXPlayer.

According to a Tellychakkar report, the team of Lock Upp 2 was in talks with Sony TV and ZEE TV. Looks like they finalised one of the channels.
Lock Upp 2 To Air On ZEE TV?
The report further states that the much-awaited show might be broadcasted on ZEE TV as discussions between the producers and the channel are nearly complete. However, there has been no confirmation regarding this yet.
Lock Upp 2 To Air At Late-Might Time Slot
If we talk about the time slot, Lock Upp season 2 is likely to air at the late-light time slot of 11 pm on ZEE TV. The show's first season grabbed eyeballs due to its controversial content and fans loved it. We just hope that the show doesn't lose its essence while airing on TV.
When Will Lock Upp 2 Premiere?
Initially, the plan was to launch it in March. However, the show got postponed by a month and is now likely to premiere in April.
