Made In Heaven 2 Update: Produced by Excel Entertainment, Made In Heaven got released on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and turned out to be a resounding success. After a long wait of four years, Made In Heaven Season 2 is finally releasing in just three days. Ahead of the premiere of the new season, let's take a look at a quick recap of the first season here.
STORY ON MADE IN HEAVEN FIRST SEASON
In the heart of the nation's capital, two wedding planners, Karan Mehra (played by Arjun Mathur) and Tara Khanna (portrayed by Sobhita Dhulipala), helm a wedding company known as Made in Heaven. The series delves into their professional struggles as well as the tumultuous challenges in their personal lives. It bravely tackles topics such as same-sex relationships, extramarital affairs, financial deception, and deeply ingrained misogyny.
Following a tragic car accident that leaves Faiza (played by Kalki) critically injured, Tara stumbles upon a hidden truth - her husband Adil (essayed by Jim Sarbh) and Faiza were engaged in an affair. Despite this revelation, Tara opts to prioritize Faiza's recovery. A poignant and heartrending moment unfolds in the storyline as Adil visits Faiza at the hospital, and she candidly informs him of her inability to sustain their relationship any longer.
Simultaneously, Tara confronts the complexities of her association with Adil, recollecting its inception marked by dishonesty. She admits to deliberately coming close to him at work, aiming to sow issues between Adil and his to-be-spouse, all in pursuit of a luxurious life. Stricken with remorse, she feels that she is now reaping what she sowed.
In a contrasting scenario, Karan's landlord secretly records a sexual encounter between him and his partner. When confronted by his wife, the landlord resorts to falsehoods, resulting in Karan's unjust arrest, during which he faces mistreatment from a police officer. A surprising twist emerges as Karan chooses to take legal action against his landlord, who finally confronts a long-held denial about his own homosexuality.
WHERE DID THE FIRST SEASON END?
Reconnecting with his old friend Nawab (Vikrant Massey), Karan endeavors to confront the inner struggles he has long grappled with, triggering recollections of his past denial of his authentic self. Subsequently, their workplace becomes the target of an assault by right-wing extremists who vehemently oppose homosexuality, placing both Tara and Karan in a precarious situation.

Sharing the screen with Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Vijay Raaz are the show's core cast members. Joining them are newcomers Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar, while Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur take on pivotal roles within the narrative.
