review:
Way
before
OTT
platforms
gained
traction
during
the
lockdown
period,
it
was
a
series
on
Amazon
Prime
Video
that
captured
the
attention
of
the
audience
in
2019.
It
not
only
received
critical
acclaim
across
the
country
but
also
earned
an
International
Emmy
nomination.
It
was
called
the
best
original
desi
web
show
in
India
after
Sacred
Games
when
it
premiered.
Cut
to
2023,
after
a
wait
of
four
long
years,
the
romantic
drama
series
is
back
with
a
sequel.

REVIEW:
AMAZON
PRIME
DELIVERS
ANOTHER
BIGGIE
Could
it
be
any
more
glamorous,
intense
and
gripping?
No,
it
can't.
Made
In
Heaven
2
starring
Arjun
Mathur
and
Sobhita
Dhulipala
as
our
favourite
wedding
planners
is
now
available
for
streaming
on
Amazon
Prime.
What
is
the
first
thing
that
came
to
my
mind
after
watching
the
series
on
the
streaming
platform?
Was
the
four-year
wait
worth
every
bit?
Did
Made
In
Heaven
sequel
turned
out
to
be
an
engaging
affair?
The
answer
to
all
the
questions
is
a
big
yes.
If
you
love
drama,
glamour
and
heavy-dose
of
emotions,
you
will
enjoy
the
sequel
of
the
much-awaited
web
series.
It
is
indeed
bona-fide
binger-worthy
show,
adding
a
feather
on
Amazon
Prime's
cap.

STORY,
ACTING
REVIEW
From
showcasing
the
opulence
of
our
Indian
weddings
to
tackling
the
issues
and
grim
realities
that
are
neatly
hidden
in
society,
Zoya
Akhtar
and
Reema
Kagti's
series
hits
the
ball
out
of
the
park
once
again.
MIH
2
carries
forward
the
legacy
of
the
franchise,
which
earned
love
from
all
corners
when
it
beamed
in
2019.
It
picked
off
from
where
it
ended
in
the
first
season.
While
our
diva
Tara
is
struggling
with
her
divorce
and
taking
care
of
her
niece's
education,
Karan's
life
takes
a
turn
as
he
deals
with
his
mother's
cancer
diagnosis.
While
their
personal
life
is
messy,
Karan
and
Tara
are
also
facing
issues
in
keeping
their
company
on
the
right
track.
From
working
in
an
old
and
shabby
house
to
adapting
to
the
new
status
quo,
the
duo
is
forced
to
take
up
challenges
head-on.
There's
a
new
auditor
for
Made
In
Heaven,
who
is
introduced
by
Jauhari
to
clean
up
the
mess
in
the
company
as
it
failed
to
register
profits.
Bulbul
Jauhari
turned
out
to
be
the
star
of
the
series,
courtesy
of
her
charm
and
wits.
The
new
season
once
again
mirrored
social
issues
like
obsession
with
fair
skin
and
domestic
violence.
Although
the
story
and
plot
get
preachy
at
times,
it
manages
to
keep
you
invested.
Once
again,
the
creators
have
portrayed
the
characters
in
the
most
humane
way,
keeping
them
relatable.
Arjun
Mathur
and
Sobhita
Dhulipala's
swag
and
sass
continue
in
the
sequel
as
they
delivered
an
earnest
performance.
The
new
brides,
be
it
Mrunal
Thakur
or
Radhika
Apte
played
their
part
to
the
T.
While
Shashank
Arora
and
Shivani
Raghuvanshi
did
their
act
honestly,
the
new
additions-
Trinetra
Haldar
and
Ishwak
Singh
are
a
treat
to
watch.
Mona
Singh
was
the
highlight
of
the
show
as
her
character
strikes
a
chord
instantly.
What
a
performance!
MONA
SINGH
STEALS
THE
SHOW
IN
MADE
IN
HEAVEN
2
There
was
never
a
doubt
that
she
is
a
talented
artist.
She
took
things
a
notch
higher
with
her
impressive
performance
as
Bulbul,
who
has
her
own
story.
Mona
Singh
pulled
off
the
character
with
Elan,
stealing
all
the
limelight
from
others.
She's
a
treat
to
watch
and
delivers
a
'seeti
maar'
performance
in
Made
In
Heaven
2.
EDITING
COULD
BE
TIGHTER,
DURATION
IS
AN
ISSUE
Made
In
Heaven
2
was
marred
by
the
duration
as
certain
portions
of
the
episodes
could
be
trimmed.
Tight
editing
always
works
in
favour
of
the
web
series.
Certain
scenes
could
be
chopped
off
and
the
duration
of
the
seven-episode
series
could
be
reduced.
It
was
a
minor
hiccup
as
the
power-packed
performance,
stunning
visuals,
grandeur
and
impressive
screenplay
were
enough
to
engage
the
audience.
Wondering
whether
to
watch
Made
In
Heaven
2?
We
will
highly
recommend
it
as
the
four-year
wait
is
worth
it.
Zoya
Akhtar's
web
show
is
dramatic,
intense
and
endearing,
making
for
a
perfect
weekend
binge-watch.
The
series
deserves
a
watch
for
its
storytelling,
stellar
act,
and
the
way
it
is
aesthetically
shot.
