MasterChef India 8

MasterChef India 8: In a battle of skill and creativity, MasterChef India takes the competition to new heights by tasking home cooks with an offsite challenge at Saffron, a prestigous restaurant by JW Marriott, Mumbai.

Known for its scrumptious selection of curries and biryanis from the kitchens of Hyderabad and Lucknow, Saffron plays host to MasterChef India's latest challenge - Saffron Offsite Team Service.

Blue Team vs. Red Team in MasterChef India's new episode

During the course of this challenge, six home cooks are divided into two teams. Taking up the captaincy once again are Rukhsaar Sayeed and Nidhi Sharma, leading the Red and Blue teams, respectively.

The Red Team includes Rukhsaar Sayeed, Nambie Jessica Marak, and Suraj Thapa, while the Blue Team comprises Nidhi Sharma, Mohammed Aashiq, and Harish Closepet. The task at hand? Crafting a gourmet-level street food platter for the guests of Saffron.

The stakes are high, as the winning team will secure safety from elimination. But the burning question remains: Who will emerge victorious in this culinary showdown?

Rukhsaar Sayeed shared her experience, stating, "Being chosen as the captain of the Red Team was both an honour and a challenge. Nambie and Suraj are immensely talented, and coordinating with them in a high-pressure setting was an experience like no other. We put our hearts into creating a street food platter to not only prove our skills but also reflect the essence of saffron. The competition was tough, but the Red Team was ready to face whatever came our way."

Nidhi Sharma, the captain of the Blue Team, added, "Taking on the captaincy for the Blue Team was a responsibility I embraced wholeheartedly. Working alongside Mohammed and Harish, we aimed to bring innovation and excellence to our street food platter. The experience was undoubtedly an unforgettable one. We will forever cherish the memories we created in the kitchen."

MasterChef India continues its expedition for the country's next MasterChef under the expert guidance of Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Pooja Dhingra.
